School Announcements Marshall Grabs Silver Again! Congratulations to everyone - Marshall has once again been named a Silver Medalist by the US News & World Report in their "Best High Schools" edition. Click here to see the details.Maya scores another example of excellence at Marshall! ![]() Congratulations again to 6th grade Marshall student Maya Rosental-Saporito. Maya competed against all state champions in California's Middle School History Day competition. Although the competition was tough Maya placed 3rd overall! She is now the first alternate from California to attend nationals in Washington D.C. Way to go Maya! And Go Eagles!
Marshall Commemorates the Armenian Genocide ![]() Marshall's Sotto Voce choir was among about 300 people gathered at the steps of City Hall on Tuesday April 24 to remember the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian Genocide. Crystal Cabral, Jose Juarez, and Jackelyn Travis each received $7000 from the California Masonic Foundation for the Investment in Success Scholarship. This program seeks to give high school seniors who demonstrate an active pursuit of education despite hardships the chance to obtain a higher education. Congratulations to all of our Science Fair participants! Marshall's historical tradition of excellence continues... Competing in this year's History Day LA competition on March 10, 6th grade Marshall student Maya Rosental-Saporito took first prize in the Individual Performance category, and first prize overall for the junior division for her performance "The Little Rock Make History for Me" which connects the events at Central High in Little Rock, AK in 1957 to civil rights at Marshall Fundamental and how that is benefiting her today. She will now compete in April at the state competition! Way to go Maya, and

Marshall has the "Most Valuable Students" Recently the Pasadena Elks Club held their "Most Valuable Student" Awards. Of the 6 finalists from the Pasadena area, 4 are from Marshall!

Marshall took 4 of the 6 top prizes: Ariel Wood (1st place, $1500), Taylor Lichfield (2nd place, $1000), Marilyn Travis (3rd place, $500), and Preston Mills (3rd place, $500).
